What is an annual food drive?
An annual food drive is a charitable event that takes place each year. A local church or other organization organizes it, and it aims to provide food for people who are going through difficult times.
Many people in the community are affected by unemployment, homelessness, or other factors that make it challenging to provide adequate nutrition for their families. These events help ensure that everyone can access good-quality food during difficult times.
This year, NESS Cares is in a partnership with Connecticut Foodshare through the help of #GiveHealthy. It’s a way to give back to our community while supporting an important cause.
Together, we will be able to better support individuals and families across the state by focusing on root causes, creating long-term solutions, and distributing nutritious food through local partner programs to alleviate hunger.
100% of donations will be distributed to CT Food Share.
